一 |     (ECNS) -- The 6th Qinghai-Xizang Plateau Development Forum opened on Tuesday in Haiyan County, Haibei Zang Autonomous Prefecture, northwest China’s Qinghai Province.    Co-hosted by the China Tibetology Research Center, leading academic institutions and local governments, the two-day event brought together nearly 50 senior officials and prominent scholars from major universities and research institutes.        Participants held in-depth discussions on promoting long-term stability and high-quality development across the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau under the framework of the Chinese path to modernization.    Key topics included protecting the region as a vital national ecological security barrier, improving local livelihoods, promoting high-quality population development, integrating the development of national parks with surrounding communities, advancing rural revitalization following ecological relocation, and fostering a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation.    The forum aims to provide practical, evidence-based policy recommendations to support sustainable and locally adapted modernization across the plateau.     (By Helen Mo, intern Lin Qiaochu)                    。
